KAREN ADAMS
I grew up in a small farming town in South Georgia, where life on the farm taught me the value of hard work, but I always knew my heart was drawn to the energy of a city—more specifically, a Florida city! In 1981, I followed my husband to Jacksonville, and it didn’t take long for Florida to feel like home.
After earning my BS in Organizational Management, I started my career in the medical administrative field. My first role was as a medical coder at Baptist Medical Center, but I quickly realized that I craved more interaction with people. That realization led me to an incredible opportunity at Mayo Clinic, where I found my passion for supporting physicians, scientists, and administrators in the Department of Research. While working full-time, I also earned my MBA from St. Leo University, allowing me to grow both professionally and personally in a fulfilling career.
I chose to become a real estate agent to combine my project management experience with my love of connecting with and helping people. I knew immediately I had found my niche. My mission is to make one of the most important decisions in life a stress free and exciting process. I strive to build a lifelong relationship with each of my clients.

MIKE ADAMS
Michael is a Jacksonville native whose roots in Northeast Florida give him a deep appreciation for the lifestyle, communities, and coastal charm that make this area so special. After spending approximately 12 years in Georgia, Michael returned home to Jacksonville—bringing Karen with him—and together they built both a life and a business centered around service, relationships, and helping others feel at home.
Before joining The Adams Group, Michael built a successful career as a Building Engineer for a large corporation, where he developed an exceptional eye for quality, structure, functionality, and the finer details that often matter most in a home. His professional background brings a unique and valuable perspective to real estate, offering clients an added layer of insight as they buy or sell one of their most significant investments.
Known for his calm presence, integrity, steady communication, and thoughtful approach, Michael is committed to creating a seamless and elevated real estate experience.
